Uplevel University Community Code of Conduct
The community standards for the Uplevel University Skool Community
This University Community Code of Conduct (this “Code”) sets the standards for participation in the Uplevel University member community hosted on the Skool platform (the “Community”), operated by Uplevel Entrepreneur, LLC (an Uplevel By Design™ Company) (the “Company,” “Uplevel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Code is incorporated by reference into the Uplevel University Program Addendum and is governed by the Uplevel Master Member & Client Agreement (the “Agreement”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Code have the meanings given in the Agreement, including the convention that “you” and “your” refer to you as a Member. If this Code conflicts with the Agreement or the Uplevel University Program Addendum, the Agreement and that Addendum control. The Company maintains the current version of this Code in the Community and may update it from time to time as Section 13 provides.
1. Purpose And Scope
The Community exists to help you learn, apply the Uplevel methodology, and engage with other Members in a professional, respectful, and confidential environment. This Code states how we expect Members to participate. It applies to every space within the Community … posts, comments, group calls, workshops, Monthly Tax Reduction Implementation Bootcamps, chat, direct messages between Members, and any other Community channel … and to your conduct toward Team Members and other Members in connection with the Program.
2. Who This Applies To
This Code applies to every Uplevel University Member and to any guest the Company admits to the Community. Your access to the Community is personal to you and non-transferable, as your Program Addendum and the Agreement provide.
3. Community Standards
You agree to participate with professionalism, mutual respect, and good faith. Treat Team Members and other Members the way a trusted peer would … directly, constructively, and with discretion. The Community works because Members can speak candidly about their real situations; that only holds if everyone protects the room.
4. Confidentiality Of The Community
Information shared within the Community is Confidential Information under Section 10.3 of the Agreement. You agree that you shall not record, screenshot, transcribe (including by any AI transcription tool), republish, or share outside the Community any communications, materials, or personally identifying information of any other Member or of the Company without prior written consent.
What is shared in the Community stays in the Community. This protects every Member’s ability to discuss sensitive financial, tax, business, and family matters openly.
5. Respect And Professional Conduct
The following are prohibited:
- harassment, hostility, verbal abuse, intimidation, or threats;
- discrimination or demeaning conduct directed at any person or group;
- disruption of group calls, workshops, Bootcamps, Q&A sessions, or Community channels;
- personal attacks, pile-ons, or bad-faith argument; and
- any conduct the Company reasonably determines is materially inconsistent with the safety, wellbeing, or integrity of Team Members, other Members, or the Community.
6. No Solicitation, No Pitching, No Recruiting
The Community is not a marketplace. Consistent with Section 12 of the Agreement, you shall not:
- solicit, pitch, advertise, or market your own or a third party’s products, services, or programs to other Members within the Community without the Company’s prior written consent;
- solicit other Members met through the Program for a competing coaching, consulting, advisory, educational, or wealth-strategy offering; or
- recruit or solicit Team Members of the Company or any Affiliated Entity in violation of Section 12.2 of the Agreement.
Sharing your experience, answering another Member’s question, and ordinary peer discussion are welcome. Turning the Community into a channel to sell is not.
7. The Community Is Education, Not Professional Advice
The Community is a learning environment. Posts, comments, and discussions … whether from Team Members or other Members … are general educational information and peer discussion. They are not legal, tax, accounting, investment, securities, or insurance advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from your own licensed professionals.
Other Members are not your advisers. Before you act on anything discussed in the Community, consult your own attorney, certified public accountant, tax preparer, financial adviser, insurance professional, or other licensed adviser, as Sections 2.2 and 11 of the Agreement provide.
8. Posting Rules And Handling Of Information
- Protect other people’s information. Do not post another Member’s, a Team Member’s, or any third party’s personally identifying or confidential information without consent.
- Be careful with your own sensitive information. When you post about your situation, share only what you are comfortable placing in a group environment. Avoid posting account numbers, Social Security numbers, full financial statements, or other sensitive identifiers; describe your situation at the level of detail you need to get help.
- Keep it lawful and accurate. Do not post content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, or that misrepresents Uplevel’s guidance, content, or methodology to others.
- No spam. No chain posts, mass tagging, off-topic promotion, or automated posting.
9. Intellectual Property In The Community
The Curriculum, recordings, worksheets, templates, frameworks, and other Materials made available in the Community are Uplevel IP and remain the property of the Company or the applicable Affiliated Entity, as Section 9 of the Agreement provides. You may use them for your own personal and internal business planning as the Agreement and your Program Addendum permit. You shall not copy, distribute, publish, post outside the Community, sublicense, create derivative works from, or use any Uplevel IP to build or market a competing offering or to train an AI model.
10. Prohibited Conduct, In Summary
For clarity, the following will result in action under Section 11: breaching Community confidentiality (Section 4); harassment, hostility, threats, or disruption (Section 5); solicitation, pitching, or prohibited recruiting (Section 6); posting another person’s confidential or personally identifying information without consent (Section 8); misusing Uplevel IP (Section 9); misrepresenting Uplevel guidance or methodology; and any conduct that materially undermines the safety, wellbeing, or integrity of the Community.
11. Enforcement
The Company may, in its reasonable discretion and depending on the severity of the conduct, issue a warning, remove content, mute or temporarily suspend access, or restrict or terminate your access to the Community and the Program. As Sections 12 and 17 of the Agreement provide, a material breach of this Code is a breach of your Program Addendum and may result in suspension, restriction, or termination of your access without refund. A material breach may also disqualify a Money-Back Guarantee claim under Section 8.2 of the Uplevel University Program Addendum. Nothing in this Code limits the Company’s other rights and remedies under the Agreement.
12. Reporting Concerns
If you experience or observe conduct that violates this Code, or you have a concern about the Community, contact the Company through the Community’s reporting channel or at info@uplevelbydesign.com. We review reports in good faith and take action we consider appropriate. We will not retaliate against a Member for a good-faith report.
13. Changes To This Code
The Company may update this Code from time to time on reasonable notice (by posting the updated Code in the Community, by in-platform notification, or by comparable means), consistent with the amendment provisions in Section 18 of the Agreement. Your continued participation in the Community after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Code.
14. Relationship To The Agreement
This Code is incorporated by reference into the Uplevel University Program Addendum and is governed by the Uplevel Master Member & Client Agreement and the Uplevel Policies and Procedures Compendium. It is a community policy, not a separate contract, and does not require a separate signature. The Agreement and the Uplevel University Program Addendum control over this Code in the event of a conflict.
